Definitely worth the drive and don’t miss the sheep creek canyon geological area. We turned off just thinking it was a quick drive but it was not. It was some of the most impressive geology and nature shots and worth the drive through! Lots of places to stop and take pictures and check out nature’s wonders.

Hey there early “in season “ to snatch parking closest to trailheads and relief from the crowds. St. Malo church, grounds and high end coffee shop offer a nice respite after you trekking

Very pretty scenic route.if you like taking time out of your day to stop and look at the beautiful scenery, I would really suggest this loop very much!

Very interesting geological formations. It is worth the visit. Big horn sheep are often found in this area. .
