The Brewery is a bar in downtown Green River just off the freeway. The bar is in the remaining part of an old brewery. Being in a small town in Wyoming, they don’t regularly get strangers, but I was welcomed and asked by patrons to return. The bar feels like a place out of the 80’s. You can still smoke In Wyoming bars. There are bar games, a pool table and video poker. Outdoor has a nice eating area with horseshoes and great view. The food is standard bar food, but cheap.

This is a local hometown bar wrapped in a beautiful early 20th century building. Walk in and the locals sitting at the bar give you the stink eye. Sit at the bar, order a 10-Sleep beer, and the locals quickly warm up to conversation. The Godfather was playing on tv, billiards clacking in the back room, cigarette smoke drifting by. The kitchen was serving homemade chili and other basic bar food. I’m not normally a bar-guy but this was a great place to relax for a 1/2 hour.

11/22/2025: In town visiting family, popped in for a couple of beers. They had Ten Sleep on tap. Good beer. Bunch of locals, friendly bartenders.

Beautiful historical building and bar. Locals inside could not have been more friendly. Burger and fries for $11.00! Definitely recommend this local joint and sit outside on patio and drop some coins in the jukebox.

The people and waiters were fantastic and friendly. We sat on the patio and the weather was great. Kids played horseshoes. Food was good.
